May would ball up then, trying not to cry at her sister's remarks.
The black hair woman would come storming out of her room, a crumbled up drawing in her hand. "EVELYN!" She barked. "WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?!"
She let go of the crumbled drawing then, letting it drop to the floor.

Evelyn stood up then, bright and happy.
"Mommy! You found my presents!" She said, going and giving her a big hug- her basic defense against her mother being mad.

April sighed again, shaking as she held back anger. "It's okay. Just... don't do that again, okay, Baby?" She replied, looking down at the girl.

May sighed and pulled her sister onto the couch... --- Another mundane week or so passed, with April out shopping for the time being, leaving Evelyn with her older siblings.
It was hell.

Max still wasn't feeling so well, and hadn't all week, and currently had a headache.
It wasn't helped by the youngest throwing an absolute temper tantrum in the living room at that moment.

"Baby sister!" May asked, trying to calm the younger girl down. "Why are you so mad?"

"BECAUSE MOMMY'S BUYING STUFF FOR THAT LITTLE BRAT!" She shouted. "You don't know that, Evelyn!" May replied. "She could just be buying you some things! Calm down, please!"

Evelyn stopped shouting and crying, but she didn't stop pouting. She stomped over to the fire and sat beside it.

Evelyn stopped shouting and crying, but she didn't stop pouting. She stomped over to the fire and sat beside it. The black haired, childish teen walked over and sat across from the girl. "You wanna play, Sissy?" She asked, with a marginal sound of fear in her voice.

"No." She replied defiantly. "You stupid hoe, can't you tell I'm upset?!"
"EVELYN I SWEAR TO GOD." Max shouted, going over. "I WILL SLAP YOU INTO NEXT WEEK."

Tears filled the older girl's eyes. "I-I'm sorry... I thought it'd get your mind off of it." She said in a sob.

"Come on, May." Max sighed, offering his hands to his sister. "We'll go... uh... play house? Ponies?"
