"...I don't know!"

May walked in to drag her mother out of the room then. "Then we can bond while these two are too."

Her mother sighed.
"May, we bond all the time..."

"...I don't count your lessons as bonding and neither should you." The younger of the two replied flatly.

She groaned.
"Not fair..."

A few hours passed, with May dragging her mother to the dinner table and awaiting for the rest of the family...

Soon, dinner began. Asterum sat at one end of the table, Heinyel at the other. May sat across from Max and Vincent... who were STILL chatting.

May sighed, quietly eating her dinner as she watched her brothers chat.

By now the boys had bonded quite well, and Vincent had gotten many questions in as well.
Asterum sat looking coldly at Vincent every once in a while. He never really talked at the table ANYWAY, so this... wasn't too terribly different than usual.

Heinyel paid no mind, with this being... relatively normal for a day. She found that it was happier, at least.
On occasion, the eldest child would also shoot a cold glare at Asterum, before returning to chatting with Max.

By now the conversation was slowing down, since... Max had basically relayed his and May's entire life stories to his brother.

And vice-versa for Vincent. Barring why he was rather cold towards Asterum, that is...

Max had... basically spared nothing, really.
He liked talking to him, after all.

Vincent tried to relay as much information as he could,. The discussion had died down, and Vincent currently shot another cold glare at the king.

And Asterum caught it, returning it twice as hard.
Silence fell across the table now, since Max's voice died down.

There was an incredibly awkward silence at the table now, with the two men glaring at each other.

"Er... Vincent? Dad?" Max said, quietly, attempting (and failing) to get them to stop.
"Glaring isn't polite." Asterum said icily.

"I can say just the same for you." Vincent replied, the very same amount of coldness as his glare had carried in tone.
Heinyel sighed then. "May, Max, go up to your room, please."

Max slowly got up, watching the two as he followed his sister slowly upstairs. He was a bit scared.
The two men still stared at eachother.
"Are you going to back down?"

"Are you?" The man replied.
May stopped just short enough to hear the rest of the argument...
