The younger was drinking a much more watered-down mug of coffee.
"...So what's with you and your boyfriend?" She asked suddenly. "What've you been doing?"

"Oh, Max?" She replied, her old British accent showing in full display before sipping her coffee. "Nothing, really. We are two very, very boring people, Lucy."

"Oh really?" Her sister looked up to her skeptically. "Tell me the TRUTH, Liz."

"But that is the truth." She yawned. "I got with him because I tried to help him not make an ass of himself in public. What d'ya expect?"

"I don't know. Something new?"

Lucy looked down and stared.

"Well, I mean the guy's had his sights on you for forever, sure, but you seemed to have been less interested than he was."

"I can say easily that that simply isn't true. I just keep my cool, Lucy." She said in reply. "...So how's your 'relationship', since you keep pestering me about mine?"

"Oh, mine's doing lovely."

The older girl raised her eyebrow. "Uh-huh? Tell me the truth, girly."

"It is! Though I admit it DOES get frustrating at times..."

"Tell me more~" She flailed verbally. "Wonder if there's a family trait with those two...."

"Well, it's like, I have to do everything, and be in charge of it and all that... but she has to decide on what we're doing and it has to be done the way she wants it to be done."

"Well take things like her stuffed rabbits. We were rearranging her room the other day, because she wanted my help. But she has a specific, specific order for them and everything else that we didn't move anything in the end!"
